Egypt Research Project

You will be doing the following: make a poster (at least 18 x 24 inches long) and put on an oral presentation for the class. You may have a small model or perform a demonstration as part of the presentation. All presentations should be 3-4 minutes long. You should be prepared to present on your own. You should not read from the poster, but use it as a guide for your presentation. Include a complete bibliography in correct form on your poster. **Printed pictures should be no larger than 4 x 4 inches in size. You may photocopy pictures from books.

**At the top of the page, put your name in hieroglyphs. You can print your name at this site: http://www.guardians.net/egypt/hieroglyphs/hiero-translator.htm  . Write your real name beneath the hieroglyphs.

** The topics are:

Rulers and government

Religion and gods

How the pyramids were built

Science & medicine

Mummies and death customs
