November 5^th grade book project

    You will need to chose a book from a series. A series is a set of books, usually by one author, and usually with the same characters or the same theme. You can locate all the books in a series by doing a keyword search in Infocentre under the series name.

   Our final project will be a comic strip at least 9 frames long that you make at the site www.makebeliefscomix.com    You can only make three frames before you need to print, so you will have to start the story, make three frames and go back and make another 3 frames to continue the story. Use 2 or 3 characters. Have them talk about the book, telling us the name of the book, the series name and the author. Have one character tell the other character what he/she likes best about the story. The other character can make comments or ask questions. Make sure you check your spelling before you print off your story.

You may choose a book from any of these series:

Series of unfortunate events, Graveyard school, Nancy Drew (not the graphic novels), Hardy Boys (not the graphic novels), Spy X, Angel Park all-stars. Ramona (Beverly Cleary), Puppy patrol, Animal Ark, Animorps, Saddle Club, Adventures of Wishbone, Monday night quarterback, Days of Laura Ingalls Wilder (not the books written by Wilder herself), Winning season

If you know of another series, you can ask if that’s OK, but Goosebumps, American girl, Boxcar Children, Magic Tree House are out!

Due Dec. 4^th

You will be handing in a comic strip with at least nine frames (paste them neatly on one sheet)
